Whether you are pre- or post-surgical (or no surgery at all), make sure your abdominal muscles are working in coordination with everything else. This can make a profound difference in belly comfort, digestion, and overall ease of movement.
We are cancelling this Saturday’s Open House. But we’re going to go all-in on the Halloween Open House which will double as our (little bit late) one year celebration!
Annnnnd, we’ll use that Open House to additionally celebrate Isabel starting her PhD program at OHSU! She’s looking forward to doing research to better serve people with abdominal adhesions and abdominal lymphedema!
The Halloween Open House will also be a joint food drive for St. Mark’s Pantry (for the humans) and the PAW Team (for the pets!).
I will be teaching a new series of workshops starting February 14! You can find all of the information and register at my teaching website.
The classes are geared toward practitioners like LMTs, PTs, RNs … really any clinical who wants to improve their understanding of the abdomen and get better at hands-on palpation.
Those who are experiencing the effects of abdominal adhesions are also welcome! You do not need to be a clinician to attend. While I will be using medical terms, I work hard to make sure my teaching is understandable by all!
